Ms. Shelby Scarbrough
Training Facilitator

Shelby Scarbrough was a political appointee in the Reagan and Bush Administrations. She served as Presidential Trip Coordinator in the White House, Protocol Officer for the U.S. Department of State, and Director of Advance for the Secretary of Energy.

Throughout her career, Shelby has worked with such notable figures as: His Holiness Pope John Paul II, Presidents Reagan, Bush, Ford, Carter and Nixon, President Walesa of Poland, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and members of the Royal Family, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Nelson Mandela. Most recently, she was responsible for training the new Iraq government Protocol Officers in Amman, Jordan.

In 1990, she founded an international special events management organization Private Protocol followed by a non-profit company in 1993, Tech-Knowledge International (TKI), where she served as president. Shelby is a protocol advocate and plans special events and meetings for high-profile clients.

Shelby is a native Californian and graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with a B.A. in English.
