ACCET Accreditation
ACCET has been officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education since 1978 as a "reliable authority as to the quality of education or training provided by the institutions of higher education and the programs they accredit." In 1998, ACCET became the first recognized accrediting agency to be certified as an ISO 9001 Quality Management System under the international standards established by the International Organization for Standardization.
Why become accredited?
A school that decides to become accredited undergoes a voluntary, comprehensive, in-depth study of the quality of its education, administrative practices, curriculum, student affairs, faculty competence and relationships with employers. Only after an on-site visit and a commission review to verify that the school meets the standards may the program and/or institution be accredited.
Accreditation demonstrates The Protocol School of Washington®’s mission, goals, and purpose to provide a sound quality education for our students.
What does accreditation mean to you?
The Protocol School of Washington has set the educational standard for protocol and etiquette training. As an accredited institution we continue to review, monitor, and revise our curriculum, instructional delivery, and facilitators in order to ensure the highest quality education and training.
As part of our curriculum, students will also receive Continuing Education Units.
Continuing Education Units:
You will receive one (1) CEU for every ten (10) contact hours of participation in a certified course under the responsible sponsorship, direction, and qualified instruction of The Protocol School of Washington. Receiving CEU’s:
- Communicates to others your commitment to professionalism
- Fosters excellence in yourself and assures the public that you have attained a threshold of knowledge that is of the highest standards
- Enhances your ability to market yourself professionally
